One day pre-conference workshop will be held on 20th Nov 2025. The conference will provide an opportunity to all the eminent physiologists across the country to deliberate, discuss and contribute towards fostering research consortium across various disciplines in physiology. We are pleased to announce that the dates for SIONCON 2025—the 3rd Annual Conference and Continuing Medical Education (CME) program of the Society for Intraoperative Neurophysiology (SION)—have been confirmed. The event is scheduled to take place from November 14 to 16, 2025, at the NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bengaluru, India. The conference will commence on November 14th with a CME and workshop focusing on Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM). The main conference sessions will follow on November 15th and 16th, featuring expert-led discussions and presentations on various aspects of IONM. We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming 3rd NIMHANS Electrophysiology Workshop (NEP) – 2025, organized by the Department of Neurophysiology and Department of Biophysics, NIMHANS, Bengaluru. This intensive workshop is scheduled to take place from November 13-19, 2025, at NIMHANS. This workshop offers an exceptional opportunity to gain expert insights into brain signaling and neural communication through a combination of lectures and demonstrations. Participants will acquire first-hand experience in in-vivo, in-vitro, and ex-vivo electrophysiological recordings, data analysis, and interpretation. The program also includes valuable learning experiences in stereotaxic surgery, recording local field potentials (LFP), single-unit activity in freely moving animals, brain slice preparations, long-term potentiation (LTP), multielectrode array (MEA), and single-cell patch clamp recordings.
